LIVING IN HIGHLAND PARK
Highland Park's York Blvd and Figueroa St corridors have quietly become some of the best stretches in LA for eating, drinking, and shopping. Craft breweries (Highland Park Brewery, obviously), vintage furniture stores, and taquerias that've been there for decades coexist with newer spots. The Gold Line makes it easy to get to Pasadena or Downtown without a car. It's got the creative energy of Silver Lake circa 2012, but with more space, lower rents, and a stronger neighborhood identity.
